Hoarding disorder creates special problems for older adults and their loved ones.  It’s an all-too-common scenario: the adult child struggles to get his or her parent to clean out the house and stop bringing more stuff in, only to face resistance.  What’s more, hoarding disorder is difficult to treat, leaving family members at a loss as to what to do. But there are certain strategies that may help.

About 8 million tons of plastic waste ends up in the ocean every year and has created the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a floating plastic waste mess larger than the state of Texas! With a such widespread issues, how can we all do something to help solve this?
